Isabel's diaper picture

We are starting over again with the diaper pictures! Each month Isabel will get her picture taken on the 19th in her diaper on this chair. All the kids have had it done and it is so funny to see how much they've grown from month to month! I think Izzy is the biggest one month old we have had. I love the chub she is getting! We should have had them taken when she was two weeks old....she wouldn't stay sleeping for us, so we didn't get a lot of the "Anne Geddes" shots like I was hoping for, but we did get some sweet ones.

Annika's 3!

Annika turned the big 3 on the 18th. We were in MI, so we had a little party for her at Pup's (my dad) camp. Its hunting season in MI and although the guys at the camp are not die hard hunters, its still a "man only" couple of weeks! Its funny because he sent all the guys home that day and Tinkerbell moved in! My favorite is the Tinkerbell pinata hanging from the tree!! It was a fun day. I love it up there.....its so peaceful and relaxing...for those of you who don't know where it is, its in the middle of no where!! No electricity or running water. My girls have named the outhouse the pink rocket! Yes, its pink!! :) Annika has been such a blessing to us the past 3 years! Its hard to believe she is that old....talking smart like the rest of them. She has her own personality and its pretty crazy. She is never short on words and is pretty funny! She knows it, too. Happy Birthday Sweetie!!

The other day when we were in MI Erik and Annika were having a pretty heated argument. Erik was telling Annika that Grandma Berniece is in Heaven and Annika was arguing, "no, Erik....Grandma Berniece is in jail!" It went on and on and got louder and louder. I don't know why she would say Grandma was in jail! The next day my dad was asking Annika why Grandma was in jail and she just said, "she is in jail getting a flu shot. " Who knows where that came from!!

Halloween....again??!

I was talking to Amy on the phone all excited about her new MINI VAN!!! when the kids came up from the basement looking like this! I could not believe it! It was one of those moments when you just had to take a picture and get upset later. I kept telling them that just because I am taking pictures does not mean that I am happy! So, they took me to the basement into this huge cloud of plaster dust. I couldn't even breath or take a clear picture!! According to Erik it was Annika who found the bag of plaster under the stairs and thought it would be fun to dump it all over....especially over E's head. She thought we would be so excited to see the footprints that she had made on the floor! UHHHhhh....no we were not excited. At least it was in the basement.....if it would have been flour in the kitchen it would have been my responsibility to clean up! This is a man's job!! *grin*

Isabel Anna Nordin

I wanted to get this going before Isabel was born, but that didn't happen! Now lets see if its as easy as everyone says. So, as you can see from above, I can now just post pictures here being I can't seem to get them to connect to my email anymore! Here she on November 6th (18 days old).

We are adjusting well to a new baby. The kids are never short on kisses and hugs and are constantly wanting to hold her. Erik's big thing is, "Mom! Her has her eyes open!" I'm guessing when Izzy starts paying attention to all of them they will always have a show to put on. :)

Amy, Caleb, and Baby Vincenzo came down with Mom last weekend. I think Baby V was in love. He and Iz loved cuddly close to each other on the Boppy pillow. He is 17 days older than Isabel.

So, there are the new babies. :) I'm not sure how to put the pictures into a slideshow, but I'll figure that out and do it next time. Also, so the other kids don't feel left out, here is Halloween at our house with everyone dressed up. No time to make the costumes this year....but they all thought they were pretty good-lookin'!

I realized that the "edit" portion of the blog looks different than the actual blog itself, and its not turning out how I would like. But, its my first try. I have to get some help from people that know what they are doing. So, next time hopefully I'll have it figured out. At least I finally got some pictures out. :)
